Who am I as a counsellor?

I’m a qualified counsellor. I’ve successfully completed a BACP accredited training and have been awarded an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling.

I am committed to working within the BACP’s ethical framework for good practice to ensure you receive the good quality counselling you deserve. Amongst other things, this means:

  • Confidentiality underpins my practice
  • I am properly supervised (my supervisor does not know the identity of my clients)
  • I have professional indemnity insurance to work as a counsellor

My approach to counselling is eclectic, drawing from a range of therapeutic models and upon my own learning in therapy and supervision. Fundamentally, I work with the person present with me rather than focus on any theory.
